On this rainy Sunday, I decided to pull the trigger and be proactive. It’s always a good feeling to knock a few things off my “To Do” list. What I was able to accomplish took all day! I am new to blogging, and I am amazed at the amount of social media that is involved! Not only am I starting this blog, I created and co-host a Podcast. I know what you are thinking… “What?”. You can say I’m a glutton for punishment! I have been putting off creating our Facebook page so the simple fact that I was slightly intimidated with the entire prospect.
We are pretty new to the scene and are still trying to find our footing in the podcast world. I started adding pics and posts, but that was about it. Today, I decided to pull the trigger and finish the page. I even sent invites for friends to like it! And they did!!
I have kept both of my “side projects” under wraps, and have only shared with a few people, as I want to make sure that I know what I am doing before I spilled the beans. I have come to realize that my Blog or Podcast will never be “perfect”, and I cannot let my insecurities hold me back. I ‘m sure that the most experienced bloggers and podcasters have been in my shoes.
As I progress on this journey, things will click into place!!

Hey, I think you’re off to a great start! I’m not quite in my middle years yet, but I saw your blog on Facebook and wanted to stop by to cheer you on. 🙂 I’ve tried blogging in the past and have always fallen short of what I’d hoped. I think it’s because I failed to put in the social media effort. You’re right, there’s A LOT involved in order to have a successful blog.

Thanks Nicole…. it’s such a work in progress. Of course we want these blogs to be “perfect”, but thats not reality. I’m trying to figure it all out, but each step i take gets me closer to my dream! You should give it another shot!!
