Hi Friends!

Have you seen Live Happy on your local magazine shelves? Last week, I decided to stroll into my local Barnes & Noble to see what new books were flying off the shelves.  I prefer to buy my books from Amazon.com.  Actually, I prefer to buy everything at Amazon.com, who am I kidding? I’d love to LIVE at Amazon!

That little shopping cart app on my phone screams at me several times a day “Hi Crystal…come take a look”… “you know I have what you want”.  How does he know me so well?? He knows everything about me, my likes, my preference for movies and shows to watch….My love of 2-day shipping… Generally, I look around good old Barnes & Noble and will search my app to see if Amazon has the book that I want.  I figure if I spend $99.00 a year for Prime Membership, I’m going to use it for all it’s worth!  Now, they make it so much easier with the barcode scanner!  One picture, add to cart!  I digress. My obsession with Amazon deserves a whole blog post to itself.

As I walked to the magazine section and passed over the diet, fitness, and Kardashian covers, my eye caught a cover of a fairly new lifestyle magazine.  It’s called “Live Happy”.  That title totally caught my attention.  This is my new life motto (until I can find a new one for 2017, or maybe a secondary motto).  Also, Mayim Bialik was on the cover and I was a HUGE Blossom fan in the 80’s.

I took a chance and purchased it, and I was pleasantly surprised as to how good this magazine is! Each article has a feel good, positive message, and best of all, not a Kardashian in sight!  (unless they snuck one in that I looked past)

A few passages really struck close to home, and were stories that I needed in my life.  The title really lives up to the message, and that is something I can appreciate. The overall message is to “Find Your Authentic Happiness” and they do this by bringing ideas and factual based research on how to live happier and more meaningful life.  This is something that I am giving 100% to achieving throughout “Middle Years Journey”.  Finding myself again, and finding my happiness.

After looking on their website, I was so pleased to see they are listed on all social media outlets, and also have a podcast!  I added it to my list in ITunes, and I’m looking forward to listening, and more importantly, learning.  I’m taking my time reading and making notes.  I’m already starting to “get it”, and for that, I’m truly grateful!

Check them out and let me know what you think!

Until next time……

Crystal
